Take the water taxi over from Fethiye harbour and after a 20 minute boat ride you will reach the beach resort of Calis.
The promenade at Calis runs for approximately 2 miles there is a narrow strip of shingle beach on one side and an excellent selection of bars and restaurants on the other. A wonderful place to head for in the evening after a hard days sunbathing as Calis is famous for its spectacular sunsets, some of the most photographed in Turkey. All the waterfront restaurants and bars have fantastic views out across the sea to the islands beyond. There is a good variety of cuisine on offer in Calis ranging from traditional Turkish dishes to Chinese, Indian and Italian.

During the day there are plenty of sun lounges for hire on the main beach and for those who are more adventurous there is a windsurfing school located around quarter of a mile past the end of the Calis promenade. Due to the reliable on shore breeze Calis is now becoming popular for the relatively new sport of kite surfing which is gaining popularity in Turkey.

Villa Vanric is 10 minute walk to Calis beach, calis is a small town with plenty of restaurants lining the beach front. It has an amazing atmosphere at night. This area is famous for its stunning sunsets.
Fethiye is close by and boasts an array of restaurants and shops great at night you could mistakenly think you were in the South of France.
Villa Vanric is a luxurious 4 bedroomed, 3 bathroomed villa with its own pool. Use of dishwasher,washing machine, kenwood surround sound system, satellite tv and DVD. A car is not essential catch the local dolmus (shared taxi) but useful if you want to explore Oludeniz beach or Kaya Koya - ghost town. The corner shop is near by for local bread and milk.
