Oludeniz Turkey

Oludeniz is one of the Gems on Turkeys Mediterranean coast

Oludeniz is s a wonderful beach destination with a stunning curve of white sand lapped by clear turquoise waters and backed by pine forests and spectacular mountains. The resort of Oludeniz offers plenty to do if you are want to do more than spend long lazy days on the beach soaking up the sun. Oludeniz is a major destination for Europe's paragliding community, the launch point being Babadag the towering mountain behind the resort, excellent conditions make most days throughout the long summer flyable. If you are not a paragider pilot but would still like to experience the thrill of a flight, there are tandem flights available, a great way to see the coast and spectacular blue lagoon.

Diving is also very popular on Turkeys Mediterranean coast and courses vary with tuition available for absolute beginners or fully qualified divers, the crystal clear waters in Oludeniz and Fethiye area make this an ideal holiday activity.

As well as the lovely main beach along the front of the resort there is also the famous blue lagoon, this conservation area is a must for all visitors.

 

Accommodation Oludeniz

Accommodation on offer in Oludeniz is of excellent quality, there are many good standard family run hotels and apartments for rent. The resort itself has a very relaxed atmosphere with plenty of bars and good small restaurants, some with roof terraces where you can watch one of the spectacular sunsets. Serving an excellent selection of both traditional Turkish and European cuisine.

Property Oludeniz

There is very little development allowed in Oludeniz and when property does come on the market it fetches a premium price, the occasional villa on the hillside overlooking the resort does come up for sale, but in nearby Ovacik and Hisaronu there is plenty on offer, holiday apartments and stone built villas with mountain views and at a fraction of the price you will pay for a property in Oludeniz which is only 10 minutes away by car or dolmus.
